Funny story:
Today was my Grandpa's birthday and for it, he treated my mom and I to the most elegant place to eat in town: Taco Bell. As we were going home, my mom started a conversation. Being in the back seat, I was able to witness the whole conversation. you are now privy to my great experiences as an American Teen. It started like this.
Mom: Are you going to make your colonoscopy appointment when we get back home?
Just as my mom slammed on the brakes to avoid getting crushed in the middle of the intersection while running a yellow. I couldn't help but smile and think "yeah, great conversation for a teenager to be hearing. TMI!!"
Grandpa: You know what is amazing about that?
At this point I was slightly worried thinking that my Grandpa thought that it was amazing to have something shoved up your. . . Apparently having to walk uphill to school both ways in the snow distorts one's idea of amazing. Who knew?
Grandpa: Tires. It is absolutely amazing that they can have so much traction on a wet road.
My mom glanced at me from the rear view mirror in a worried fashion obviously wondering if she had misheard my Grandpa. I looked at her as if to confirm I had no idea how he had made the transition from a colonoscopy to a tire.
Mom: How are a colonoscopy and a tire related?
I decided to help my mom realize how my Grandpa's mind obviously worked.
Me: Well, a tire as well as the normal buttocks is round.
This little speech was met by stunned silence. I felt the need to explain myself further.
Me: Not to mention that they both have a hole. Though the sizes are not exactly similar.
It was a moment before my Grandpa burst into a breathless laughter after which my mom started to convulse when her abdominal muscles stated a vigorous workout.
I was slightly worried about my safety given the fact that I highly doubted that my mother could see much considering the amount of liquid which was literally pouring from her eyes. Luckily we made it safely back home and I was the only one who didn't look like I had just drained my tear ducts.
Anyway, here are some pictures. What do you think? Could they get confused? I have yet to come to a conclusion.

See you later!!
