I will jump right into the story.
My sister, Katie( We call her KT, how cool is that?) and I were going to see my other sister Emily. While we were driving(or I should say KT was driving) my finger started hurting a lot. When I looked I discovered the culprit for my pain was a miniature sliver.
I began to do what any other normal teenager would have done. I tried to push the painful piece of wood out.
While in much pain, I looked up to see this annoying car next to us who kept blocking us in. This whole event caused my sister to speed up and get out then pass and then it would happen all over again.
Of course, the next thing we see is flashing blue and red lights. KT groaned and pulled over. I looked at the approaching policeman with interest in my side mirror and then decided the sliver was more interesting.
The sliver was almost out when I heard a knock on the window. It was the policeman. I had never before been pulled over so what I did next is completely understandable.
I opened the door. No harm done right? Wrong. That day was extremely windy. When I opened the door, the wind pushed my car door right into the face of the man. I gasped as he stumbled back and rubbed his chin.
All I could think was, "I'm going to prison for assaulting a policeman!"
"I am so sorry Officer" I squeaked, so I'm not sure how much he understood of my mouse impersonation, but he seemed to understand I did not mean to hurt him.
When he came back to give us a warning about speeding, I made sure I rolled down the window rather than opening the door.
Thankfully, we were soon again on our way. We got to Emily's house without any other incident, unless you count not being able to find a McDonalds anywhere!!
After settling down at Emily's house I took the liberty of checking how much the fine was for assault. I was surprised to find it was zero to five years in prison and up to $5,000. I'm glad the law enforcement officer understood I was innocent.
Always be careful when opening a door, you could do some serious damage.

Story of my Life
Hey!!
Ok, so for the past few weeks I have been preparing for finals so I have not had much time to write a post(mainly because I have been busy watching movies and reading books of course, never would I actually study. :) ) I thought I would share a few stories which I found humorous in hope of helping you smile today.
First, I am very blessed to have my married sister and her family living in the same town as myself. This means I have the great opportunity to see my nieces on a very regular basis.
My niece has a doll which she refers to as "Baby". One night we were getting ready to eat when my mom looked out the window. She called my niece over to look outside. This was the view.
I thought it was quite entertaining. "We are lucky she wasn't kidnapped." My mom muttered. HAHA!!
Next order of business, when my mom and I were going to Utah, we couldn't help but notice my window was fogged up incredible but hers was clear as day.
Pictures are as follows:
My window

My mom's.
My mom said it was either because I'm so "hot"( haha my mom called me hot) or I was angry and full of hot air.
Who knows? Have a great 1/11/11!! It should be great. Remember to wish a great wish at 11:11 today!!
Until next time

Welcome 2011
Good Evening!
Let's see, during the past two weeks I have been in and out of my house( LA, my sister's, Utah, and home), I wrote and finished a book(It is a Christmas Story and I really like it!! :) ), received a ton of presents in all forms, and started the the newest year 2011!!
Overall, I believe it has been pretty exciting.
When my parents and I went down to LA, we were going to a traditional Christmas party which was started by my grandparents. We figured it all out, and this party has been going on for 47 years!! How's that for tradition?
We were in Utah for the New Years with my other grandma and it was freezing, though it didn't snow at all( which I still feel cheated about).
My latest book which I'm hoping to edit soon and then send in is, as I said before, a Christmas story. It is the "true" story of Santa Clause. It was extremely fun writing it. I had told myself I would finish writing it before the New Year so yesterday, I was sitting at my laptop for about 8-9 hours making sure I met my deadline.
Presents included my favorite candy in the world: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, a single serve blender(which is AMAZING!!), makeup, a nativity set from Germany, polka-dot pajamas, and many others presents which helped to make this season the best their was.
My sister is on an 18 month mission in Canada, and we were allowed to speak with her on Christmas Day. It was great to hear her voice and learn about all her experiences since she has been in a new country.
Last, we have all moved into a new year: 2011. It will be a great year, I can feel it, full of joy, love, and happiness. And even though it will also be filled with sorrow, we must remember to press on and continue to do all we can to become better people.
Today in 1/1/11. So tonight at 11:11 P.M. will be the time to make the best wish of all. Me? I'm going to ask to become a better writer.
Have a great New Years Day(What's left of it), and a great New Year. Bring on 2011!
